Driver ECO-S

MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEM FOR INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES (pumping stations, power stations, waterworks, BOILER, COLD, ADVERTISEMENTS ETC.)

A general description of the system

We offer a system to monitor and control energy substations. It is based on the GSM mobile telephony. The transmission takes place via SMS, CLIP, and with a large amount of data transferred - GPRS packet. Using these means of communication for data exchange brings tangible economic effects wherever technological objects are separated from each other and there is no possibility of direct communication between them.

Technical Description

Described above, monitoring and energy control devices such as the tram substation, based on the microprocessor controller module ECO-S, produced with the software by RCG PROFILE, you can monitor and control any electrical work from anywhere, using mobile phone or PCmonitoring, coupled with a mobile phone, and installed monitoring.

The system can be operated by up to 16 users with appropriate privileges assigned.

User using a mobile phone or a computer monitor, sending a text message with appropriate content, can make switching any electrical appliances. Replaced by the feedback on your phone or computer to execute commands and device status.

The system can be freely programmable devices such as the task of attaching the reserve at the time of system failure, etc. has a potential-free relay outputs, which are used to control voltage ranges from 1 to ~ 230V, and rated to 10A. Control of HV electrical equipment is done by use of the existing automation of these devices or the absence thereof, through appropriate regulatory modules (contactors, relays).

Dispatcher Management "Base" can control multiple devices at facilities located in different places far from each other and are in a GSM network (over 99% of the country),

Users, in addition to device control through communications, are able to obtain textual information about events at the stadium or the status of the equipment (for each event, you can independently choose which of the programmed numbers are to be sent messages). These messages can be freely defined by the user as well as other configuration parameters are saved in the internal memory controller.

Examples of information about the states of devices:

  • attaching on or off,
  • decay and return voltage,
  • short-circuit conditions,
  • unauthorized person entering the property (sabotage)
  • occurrence of alarm - the system reacts to an event occurring (eg, failure, fire),
  • temperature equipment in the facility.

The system consists of six main components that make up a reliable system of continuous monitoring and control of substation equipment efficiency.

  1. ECO-S driver
  2. Module optoisolation
  3. Industrial GSM module with external antenna
  4. Battery 12V
  5. Team relay
  6. AC / DC 14 V

The most important component of the system is the driver ECO-S (A) the production company PROFILE RCG, which receives status information from the input device and stores them in memory to be able to then through an industrial GSM communication module (C) submit the results of measurements to the "BASE".

Service, or a properly configured software that controls the sending appropriate commands via SMS to the "BASE" of the driver ECO-S controls the device via relay team (e), enabling or disabling the device. While the module optoisolation (B) protects the driver entry ECO-S before the intrusion of unwanted currents and voltages with controlled external objects.

In order to increase the reliability - the system is equipped with a 12V battery (D), from which the driver is powered by a power failure, network ~ 230V AC Input (F).

Characteristics of driver ECO-S

  • integrated power supply buffer,
  • parametric input-to-digital (also optoisolation)
  • selected entry can work as a counting input pulses,
  • ~ high-current outputs 230V/10A,
  • Low voltage output 5V/0.015A,
  • fuse protected outputs delayed,
  • sending information about the state of inputs, mains power failure ~ 230V, discharged battery emergency power supply, overheat fuse, power output,
  • LED indicators of each output and controller status,
  • cooperation with any mobile phone that supports the AT protocol,
  • communication with users through the signals CLIP, SMS, GPRS protocol,
  • powerful functions simultaneously by computer control system coupled with a mobile phone and software, or straight from your mobile phone,
  • memory of the events of 1024 items
  • cooperation with fire sensors.,
  • possibility of expansion with additional modules such as input / output Digital input / output analog temperature sensors, etc.
  • the ability to share a system of zones (zones can be controlled by the user, by system events, or their condition may depend on the status of other areas, it is possible to temporarily restrict access to the zones),
  • configuration parameters are stored in EEPROM memory,
  • 8 TIMER'ów working, which can be deducted: milliseconds, seconds, minutes or hours,
  • system capable of storing 16 entries and 16 phone numbers of users.

Fully configurable parameters of the system

  1. nature of the work the digital input (alarm, pulse counter, a digital input for temperature sensor)
  2. alarm input work parameters (a breach, delay time, the meter violations, no zone),
  3. counter input operating parameters (polarization / charged pulse duration, the multiplier, limits)
  4. operating parameters input to a digital temperature sensor (sensor type, limits)
  5. analog input work parameters (type, limit values)
  6. TIMER'a working parameters (which counts limits),
  7. password, telephone number, user permissions,
  8. content sent SMS,
  9. format sent an SMS,
  10. form of the condition after the meeting that the system will perform a sequence of output operations.

It is possible to combine drivers ECO-S in the network is managed remotely through a "base".

ECO-S Driver (local train) collects and processes information received from the technological equipment (motors, contactors, relays, etc.) and distributor of measurement equipment. At the command of "BASE", a local station transmits the information available (eg, values current, voltage, states of equipment) to the central station, via SMS messages (in the case of small amounts of data) or GPRS packets (for a larger amount of data transferred) using an industrial GSM module.

"BASE" is a PC equipped with appropriate software management monitoring system, operating in Microsoft Windows operating system 9x/ME/2K/XP. "BASE" is connected via RS232 serial cable to a mobile phone (or more depending on the extent of the system - the number of systems for remote control), which communicates with the module industry (C) in the monitoring system.

"DATABASE" controls the work of monitoring and control system, collects, stores and processes information received from the drivers. Furthermore, according to the agreed timetable, in an automated way, update all the measurement results, communicating with local stations (the drivers).

Central station dispatcher can also manually using the computer keyboard or pointing devices, require the necessary information from local stations, as well as at any moment can turn on and off different sections of power or other devices connected to the relay team.

Attached to the "BASE" monitor provides full information about the values of all measured values and status of equipment controlled by the system. Menu on the monitor screen can be freely modified by the operating needs. The system can define the behavior of individual devices on the outputs, according to the programmed cycle, which can be adjusted to suit your needs.

Our production system is a versatile, flexible and gives a great opportunity to automate and significantly improve the security and reliability of supported devices. From the user's system does not require any preparation of the computer (however, it is necessary to brief training of personnel operating the system). The information collected form the text file can be saved to disk and mapped to the printer in the form of reports (daily, etc.) or graphs.

The benefits of the system

  • reduces maintenance costs and equipment maintenance services,
  • continuously informed about the state of components and equipment,
  • Immediate notification of failures and alarm status and the ability to automatically attach to define an emergency backup circuits,
  • reduction of losses resulting from the minimization of downtimes
  • be used in a GSM network (over 99% of the country),
  • failure-free operation and high resistance to weather conditions.
